Kantola is proud to announce being awarded the Gold-level Stevie Award in the video communication category from the American Business Association (ABA) for its Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion interactive eLearning course, created in partnership with Littler.
The American Business Awards is the U.S.’s premier business awards program. Honoring organizations of all types and sizes and the people behind them, the Stevies recognize outstanding performances in the workplace worldwide.
The awards attracted a record number of nominations this year—more than 3,800—from organizations of all sizes and in categories, including Startup of the Year, Executive of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, and Virtual Event of the Year, among others. Kantola earned the Gold Stevie in the Internal / Employee Communications, Video, category for the Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity (DEI) training course, denoting the highest level of achievement in the category.
The course features interviews with a diverse range of people about their personal experiences, along with engaging scripted scenes grounded in real-life scenarios, discussion and exploration questions, and exercises to bring the material to life.
The Stevie judges had this to say about the course:
- Diversity, Equity & Inclusion are crucial elements for creating a nourishing work environment and this online video course tackles these issues head on. Very well written and executed! Excellent production values!
- Provides a level of context and personalizes the training much more than the standard diversity, equity and inclusion training I have seen in years past.
- A great way to help HR departments provide information and training for their employees in a concise and accurate way.
- Great work! Beautifully produced, realistic, proactive, and positive.
